"Chrome to Phone" makes it easier to transfer text from your PC to mobile phones.
Sometimes it may be desirable to send information found in the browser on your PC to your mobile phone. This may be a mobile number, addresses, URLs, and more. This may of course be done using, for example, e-mail, but recently there have been a solution that saves the user for some work.
The solution called Google Chrome to Phone. It makes it possible to send such URL of the page you have open in the browser of the user's Android mobile by simply clicking on an icon that appears in your browser. Web page opens automatically in the browser on your mobile, unless there is a link to Google Maps or YouTube. This will open the content instead of the dedicated program for this type of content.
Selects the user rather than the text on the Web, it is this text which is transmitted to mobile phones. If the text is a phone, open mobile dialogue instead to call this number.
Chrome to Phone requires that the user has a mobile phone with Android 2.2 (Froyo). This is because the solution uses two Cloud Android Device Messaging Service (C2DM) not supported by the older Android editions.
On the browser side it is officially only Google Chrome supported by this extension. But there is also a similar extension for Firefox.
The mobile user must download the Phone to the Chrome application, either from the Android Market or directly from this page.
The data sent by the user's Google account, which required both the browser extension and the mobile phone.
