• Click Start -> Run. Type "cmd" to get into the command line.
• From here, we will now start outlook with a command at the end.
• Enter the following: cd C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Office \ Office12 \ outlook / resetnavpane
Now, Outlook will start normally. And next time you start just in the usual way from the start menu, quick launch or desktop.
Must also add that this is done from Windows Vista Enterprise x64. From the 32bit OS is the same line with the exception of the "Program Files" instead of "Program Files (x86)".
