FutureMark is best known for its programs that measures the performance of the hardware you have in your PC. Now it has released a tool that measures the performance of your browser. The name PeaceKeeper is inspired by the browser war taking place between the manufacturers. This test is intended to give a final answer on what browser is the fastest based on the various tests being carried out. The tests are java based, since it is something that is used on almost all web pages, for example, create animations, navigation and more. PeaceKeeper does not test the browser's performance with Flash and other desktop applications, and that it does not check non-W3C compatibility. The result is somewhat influenced by the overall performance of your PC also, and especially the processor. PeaceKeeper is online, and is currently a free beta version.
