Windows 7 much safer without admin access

It is trite, but the whole 90 percent of all known vulnerabilities in Windows 7 can be easily avoided. All it takes is to use operating system with regular user access.
It appears from a report (PDF) written by the security company BeyondTrust.
According to the survey, all the security holes in Office and Internet Explorer 8, which was known last year to be safe for those with normal user access. Taking with older IE versions, one is protected against 94 percent of vulnerabilities.
Without admin rights you should be able to avoid 64 percent of the vulnerabilities in all Microsoft products that were uncovered in the same period.
BeyondTrust analyzed nearly 75 security reports that Microsoft published last year. These covered about 200 different vulnerabilities.
