Radical extension of the offer in Google Apps.

Google opened yesterday Google Apps Marketplace, a new service where the company's Google Apps customers can buy access to Google Apps integrated applications offered by third party suppliers.
Previously, all applications that have been available in Google Apps, offered by Google itself.

Google has had a desire to expand the availability of applications that are offered in Google Apps. At the same time admits Chris Vander Mey, Senior Product Manager, Google Apps Marketplace,
there are hundreds of business applications that the company has no particular experience with.

Vander Mey writes in a blog post that there are a number of companies that create good software to run in the web cloud, but that users who adopt such solutions from different suppliers, often end up with a split experience where each application exists in its own silo .

- Users are often forced to create and remember multiple passwords, copying and pasting data between applications and jumping between multiple interfaces just to do a simple task, writing Vander Mey.
This should allow the applications currently offered through Google Apps Marketplace.
For example, third-party applications, if an administrator user approves it, interact with Google Apps solutions for calendar, e-mail, contacts and documents. The administration can be made from the standard
Google Apps control panel, and with the OpenID integration to Google Apps users to access other applications without having to log on separately to each of them.
So far, more than 50 companies starting to offer applications through Google Apps Marketplace.
Among the applications offered are payroll program Intuit Online Payroll, project management program Many Moon, decision-making system, Professional Services and Connec Atlassian JIRA Studio for project management,
error handling and workflow.
