Next Firefox is more sexy

Firefox will become more and more like Chrome, but Mozilla denying that they mimic the Google. Judge for yourself!
Firefox vica Chrome

Mozilla has put forward new proposals for how their future browsers will look like.
Starting with Firefox 3.7, which probably comes in May or June 2010, the browser started with an evolution in the user interface.

Glass and buttons

In 3.7, one should use Windows' "glass-effect" as Vista and Windows 7 introduced with Aero. Parts of the user interface to other words, will be transparent. Mozilla says on their pages that they will try to post similar effects also in Linux and Mac versions.
One should also remove the menu bar, and access the menus via buttons. Moreover, to stop and reload buttons melted together into one, and "home" button should be removed. The changes means that not as many buttons to deal with, and only the most commonly used to appear in the user interface.

Full Overhaul

In Firefox 4.0 will all  be dragged longer. Version, which will come in October or November 2010, is a "ribbon-design", as we know it from Office 2007 and Google Chrome. Mozilla write on their pages that they will provide more space for content, and that it is rather pointless to have the page title, both completely on top and on the open tab.

Moreover, should the browser drop to have a separate search fields. You now search such as Google or Wikipedia, this is done from the address bar. This have the Chrome in its user interface.
4.0 shall also be so-called "App Tabs". The whole thing will resemble Mozilla's Prism project, where you can manage web applications like Gmail as a normal program. It means to have application in a separate window without the navigation menus usually have in a web browser. This, too, has Chrome features.
Messages to the user, such as whether you want the browser to remember a password, it will pop up like a talk bubble. Not that a line under the tabs, so it is done today. Moreover, should the status bar be removed by default, so it takes up space. How has the Chrome today.

Several of the news has striking similarities with Google's browser Chrome. This realizes the Mozilla, which will forestall the critics in design drafts.
- We're not trying to get Firefox to look like some other browsers. Firefox is Firefox, Mozilla writes.
They believe that it is not to come away from the similarities with other browsers appears. They think all browsers are trying to do the same and solve the same problems, and that it therefore is not to get away from that they begin to resemble each other.

Moreover, it is emphasized again and again that many of the changes can be defined by the user, so you can get it the way you want it.
- Just because an idea is not originally from here, making it not a bad idea. Platform-trends can be good to follow. At the same time we work with many ideas that are innovative and new, printed it.
