Mozilla responds to Google Wave

The company behind the Firefox launches Raindrop - which provides e-mail, messenger, blog and Twitter in one place.

Google Wave regarded as a great revolution in everyday electronic communications. There you will be able to collect many different forms of communication, like email, messenger, blog and twitter in the same window.

Mozilla FirefoxThe service is currently only in beta stage, and you have to be invited to test glory. It is so popular that the invitations are sold expensive on Ebay.

Now also Mozilla, the company behind the Firefox browser, threw them self into the development of such interaction platform. The company has christened its new commitment Raindrop.


Raindrop project developed by Mozilla Labs, and the technology is based on a platform that brings together all communication in the same program.

Now Mozilla has certainly presented some of what they do. Raindrop will be open for all communication channels that have an open protocol, such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Flickr. Raindrop can also be used as email client.

Raindrop will work with Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. The program is currently in experimental phase, and there is no trial available for download.
