Be faster in Photoshop

Learn effective shortcuts

Adobe graphics program Photoshop is probably graphic designers favorite program. But this program can also be a bit difficult even the simplest tasks. Learn the best tricks here.
Photoshop
1.Hide only the palettes.
You may know already that by pressing the "tab" key, you can easily hide both the palettes on the right and the toolbar on the left side. But, if you use the combination Shift + Tab, only the palettes disappear - so that the toolbar is still visible.

2.Show photo properties.
By clicking on the "Doc" (bottom photo below), while holding the 'Alt' key, you can view photo features such as resolution, channels, and height / width.

3.Change gray background.
The common gray background in Photoshop can be easily modified by selecting the Paint Bucket Tool (or press G), hold down the "Shift" key and click on the gray area. To change back to the normal color, use color combinations R: 192, G: 192, B: 192 and click on the area again.

4.Make tools more precise.
By pressing the "Caps Lock", you can turn the mouse pointer to any tools to a more precise pointing. Very nice tips along with the Paint Bucket.

5.Change screen mode.
You can easily change the screen mode by pressing the "F".

6.Open new image.
If you click twice on the gray background, the "Open File" window opens. Then you do not have to go through the file menu.

7.New colors in the Swatch palette.
You can add a new color palette in the Window -> swatches if you click on a blank space (gray) in the palette, and type the name of your color. The color you wish to add at this place, must be foreground. If you want to change a color, click on it while pressing "Ctrl".

8.Switch between open files.
If you want to quickly switch between your open photos, use the command "Ctrl + Tab" or "Ctrl + F6".

9.Perfect line, square or circle.
By holding the "Shift", you can draw a perfect line, or square with the same dimensions - or a perfect circle.

10.Use the "Move Tool" at any time.
By holding the "Ctrl", you can use the "Move Tool" at any time, without changing the tool you use. And when you use the "Move Tool", you can press "Ctrl + Alt" to move the entire team.

11.Use the "Hand Tool" at any time.
By holding down the spacebar, you can use the "Hand Tool" without changing the tool you use. e, square or circle
By holding the "Shift", you can draw a perfect line, or square with the same dimensions - or a perfect circle.

12.Same tips for Zoom .
Key combination "Ctrl + Space" took out the zoom-in tool, while "Alt + Spacebar" zooms out - without changing tools.

13.Choose a background color.
While using the Eyedropper-tool, hold down Alt and select a color to change the background color quickly.

14.Increase/decrease brush.
To increase or decrease the size of a brush, press, respectively, [and].

15.Choose last used filter.
To use the last used filter, with the same configuration, go to Filter -> Last Filter (or use "Ctrl + F"). If you also press "Ctrl + F", you can select new configurations for the filter.

16.Forward/Back in history.
Press "Ctrl + Shift + Z" or "Ctrl + Alt + Z" to go back or forward in the History Palette.

17.Do the last choice again.
By holding "Ctrl + Shift + D" (or Select -> Reselect) can you make your final choice again.

18.Change the transparency of layers.
A quick way to change the transparency (opacity) of a team, you can simply press the numbers on your keypad. 1 = 10%, 2 = 20%, etc. 0 = 100%. If you want 85%, press 8 and 5 in a row.
