12 Windows 7-shortcuts

What not everyone is aware of

Makes life easier with these 12 handy Windows 7-shortcuts.

There are a lot of things you can do that may not fall just as natural for everyone to test. And a couple of them addresses the recurring question I've had.
How to make life with Windows 7 little easier:

1.Starte a new instance of an application from the task bar.
If the program already has an instance running, you can just click on the icon again while holding the Shift key as starting a new instance of the program.

2.Change instantly between the different instances / windows of a program.
If you have standard Taskbar layout and example Outlook locked to the task bar, you can easily browse all Outlook windows you have opened, which is collected during an Outlook icon. Hold Ctrl while you click the Outlook icon until you get the window you want. Like Alt-Tab, but only for that application.

3.Starte an application with the student returned the rights directly from the task bar.
Hold Ctrl + Shift while you press the icon on the program you want to run with administrative rights (assuming you have it then).

4.Use Task bar with the keyboard.
Press the Windows key + T, then set the focus to the task bar. You can now use the arrow keys to navigate it. The same key combination mentioned above can now be used with the Enter key instead of clicking.

5.Keyboard shortcuts the Taskbar applications.
Use the Windows key +. Win 1 starts the first program on the task bar, etc.

6.Aero Peek.
The discreet button next to the clock, take the mouse over to see the desktop and all the gadgets. Click on it to get the same function as the Show Desktop icon on Quick Launch earlier. Windows key + Spacebar gives you Aero Peek. Windows key + D Show desktop gives you. Windows key + M minimizes all windows.

7.Open Command window here.
Plus more options. If you're in Windows Explorer would like to open a command window in the folder, right click while holding the Shift key. On the menu you will then get this election which was previously a popular addition, installation of Windows XP. (These shortcut works in Vista too).

8.Extended Sendto menu.
Same as above, hold down Shift while you right-click. You get even more options on Sendto-list, including the Documents, Music, etc.

9.Placing windows easily.
Use the Windows key + left arrow or right arrow to place the window on half of the screen. If you use multiple monitors, you can move applications between monitors with Windows key + Shift + arrow left or right.

10.Remove all background windows.
Use the Windows key + Home and all the windows except the current is minimized. One more times to get everything back.

11.Change the size of the windows easily.
Use the Windows key + up or down arrow to maximize or minimize. Use the Windows key + shift + up arrow to stretch the window vertically. Down arrow key to reset.

12.Connect to the second monitor or projector.
Use the Windows key + P to select the mode. Probably one of the more well-known shortcut, but like it so well that it must be mentioned.
