Revealed the release date for Windows 7

An erroneous message published on Microsoft's website shows that Windows 7 RC coming in May.

Microsoft has published a message on the launch of the release-candidate of Windows 7 The message, which is located here on the Microsoft Technet, is dated May 2009. In the written message is that Windows 7 is ready for testing. But the links to the downloadable version does not work.
A Release Candidate (RC), or release candidate, is when a developer process has come so far that version has the potential to be released unless there is some serious errors.

The message reveals that Microsoft is planning the launch of this version of Windows 7 in May. Previously, the company has not wanted to go out with a date.

System Requirements

Microsoft Windows 7 RC will be available until 1 June 2010. The company also provides installation instructions for how to get the version to work.

The instructions include, among other minimum requirements for the personal computer is to run the new operating system. These are:

- 1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor (or higher)
- 1 GB of system memory (or more)
- 16 GB disk space
- Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB of memory (to enable Aero)
- DVD-R / W Drive

It will however take time to download the beta one of Microsoft's 7 According to the website it may take "up to several hours". It is of course depending on the bandwidth to run on.
